Certificate types
There are several international Certificate Authorys in the market. Examples of these are AffirmTrust (ent.Trend Micro), Comodo, DigiCert, Entrust, GeoTrust, GlobalSign, GoDaddy, Let's Encrypt, Network Solutions, StartCom, SwissSign, Symantec, SSL.com, Thawte, Trustwave, Telia. Some have encountered problems and have lost their reliability (eg. Symantec).

Standard
Web servers, firewalls, load balancers, individual servers and services.
- With Entrust Standard certificate, you secure single domain services and traffic.

Advantage
Web servers, AD FS federation, authentication of traffic between two domains.
- Protect two domains with one certificate.
- Also suitable for securing traffic between servers, such as Active Directory Federation Service (AD FS), as it may also require browser authentication.

Subdomain protection. Web servers, firewalls, load balancers, individual servers and services.
- Protect your root domain with a single certificate. For example, the domain *.client.fi and additional domains www.client.fi, mail.client.fi etc.

OV Multi-Domain
Securing multiple domains with a single certificate. Web server, firewalls, load balancers, servers and services.
- Also suitable for securing Exchange, Lync or Skype for Business servers and environments.
- Includes a re-creation guarantee within 30 days. In this way, domains can be added later, if necessary, within that time frame.

EV Multi-Domain
Extended Validation (EV) is recommended for e-commerce, banking, insurance, and government agencies and to protect other high security services.
